I started diving when I was 10 or 11 years old. I Did my IDC in the Netherlands, but after a while I decided it was to cold for me there so the choice to move here was very easy.
I love the island life, and love to teach. My favorite course is still the Open water Course and teaching this to kids. For me there is no better feeling then to help non-divers experience the underwater world for the first time!

PADI Divemaster
The Padi Divemaster course is the first step in becoming a Padi professional. During the course, we are going to fine-tune your diving and rescue skills. You will gain new knowledge and learn how to be a role model while guiding divers everywhere in the world. We will train you not just to finish the Divemaster course. But for what comes next. If you have ever dreamed about working in an exotic location doing what you love, this is the first step!
prerequisites:

Certifed as a Padi Advanced Open Water Diver and Padi Rescue Diver.

18 years old.

Logged 40 scuba dives.

Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months.

Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months.
PADI Instructor Course
During the Instructor Development Course (IDC) you will not just change your own life, We will teach you how to change the lives of your students. Learn how to turn your students in to confident Open water divers. Or improve their skills with one of the continuing education courses.
Prerequisites:

PADI Divemaster.

18 years old.

Medical clearance attesting to dive fitness.

Certifed diver for at least six months.

Completed the EFR Primary and Secondary Care course, or other qualifying training, within the last 24 months.
PADI Specialty Instructor Course
As a Padi specialty instructor you are able to teach experiences that your students can implement right away. It also allowes you to specialise in area's of diving that you like the most. Teach your students about diving with Nitrox, Full face masks or wreck dives. These are just a few if the possibilities.
Prerequisites:
- Certified as an OWSI Instructor.
- Some specialty require you to have the student level. Contact us for more information.
PADI MSDT Program
Padi Master Scuba Diver Trainer(MSDT) is the next step in your profesional diving career. The MSDT rating sets you apart from other instructors.
Prerequisites:
- Certified as an OWSI Instructor.

PADI IDC Staff instructor
As a Padi IDC Staff instructor you will take your diving career even further. You will gain a deeper understanding of all the dive theory, and will assist with the process of training the next generation of Padi profesionals.

Divemaster internships
As Curacao's only 5 star Padi CDC centre, we have a lot of experience with not just teaching the Divemaster course, but more importantly: What comes after. Dive Division is an island wide network with 5 different locations each on an unique location, which means you are guaranteed to get real hands on experience with actual guests. During the divemaster course, you are going to improve/ fine-tune your own diving skills. refine your rescue skills and you will learn to solve the most common problems under water as well as above the surface. You will gain new knowledge, and learn how to be a role model to divers everywhere. You will also learn new leadership skills which you are going to use assisting instructors during courses and discover scuba dives, all this while working closely with a dive mentor.
We do also offer loan agreements. So you can pay back the course and getting experience working as a Divemaster at the same time.

Instructor Internships
Just as we offer Divemaster Internships. We do the same for instructors. You can participate in the Instructor Development Course(IDC) led by Course Director Mick Bosman.
The new revised PADI IDC Course has an even better focus on real-life teaching. After your precise preparation with the digital eLearning, you have already done most of the presentations. Leaving the actual course to spend most of the time focusing on real-life teaching broken out in different workshops. These workshops are all focused on learning how to give knowledge development teaching presentations, confined water presentations, open water presentations; fine-tune your demonstrations of the skills, Risk management, revise the dive theory, get familiar with the PADI Standards & Procedures and lots of practical workshops.
After successfully completing the IDC, you can enroll to the 2-day Instructor Examination (IE) and earn your official PADI Instructor rating.
We do also offer loan agreements. So you can pay back the costs of the course and getting experience working as an instructor at the same time.
