I am one of the owners of Jan Thiel Diving. I am an enthusiastic diver and take you to all the beautiful dive sites on Curaçao. Beside I know a lot about the right dive equipment and I also know all kinds of nice facts about the island.

Your first experience blowing bubbles: 24th of August 2019. I always thought, I can snorkel.. why should I go diving?! Until I went diving the first time, I was sold! So amazing to be close to the fish & corals, so serene.
Favorite dive site: Double Reef, the diversity of corals, schools of fish and turtles you always see there, beautiful!
Favorite spot on the island: Anywhere on in or near the ocean.
Why do you love Curacao: It thought me to enjoy and value the little things in life.

First experience blowing bubbles : My first diving experience was in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where I did my Open Water course.
Favorite dive site: Definitely Double Reef! I like the diversity of the reef.
Favorite spot on the island: For food "De Gouverneur". And to enjoy the vibe and relax on the beach I would say Playa Lagun or Karakter on Coral Estate.
Why do you love Curaçao: I like the vibe the island has, not rushed and it is so easy going. if it doesn't work out today, it will tomorrow.
What should you know about me: What not? Just joking ;). I really like to teach and give people some knowledge about the underwater world and making them enthusiastic about it!
My dive motto: It is almost like 4 hours of therapy a day

Why do you love Curacao: Because Curacao is like a hidden gem and quite possibly everything
you've ever wanted for a vacation destination. Curacao is beautiful with incredible beaches and dive sites. I love it because there are so many great

Timeline
Blue Bay Dive
The first dive center of Dive Division opened in 2014 at Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort.
Coral Divers
The second location opened its doors at Coral Estate. A Dive Center with daily Boat diving formerly know as Habitat resort
BLVD Divers
The 3rd dive center opened on the Mambo Beach BLVD, the first name was Blue Bay Dive Retail store, later this was changed to BLVD Divers.
Jan Thiel Diving
Jan Thiel Diving opened in 2018 and is located right inside Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort. First the shop was located in the reception building, beginning of 2023 we moved to our new location near the entrance of the resort next to the main road of Jan Thiel.
Groove Diving
Our newest kid on the block is Groove diving in Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort. This was opened in 2020 due to covid. from our housereef we have acces to Double reef and Superior producer.
